Abstract
El combate al cambio climático se ha vuelto un factor importante que se debe considerar en el análisis, planeación y formulación de la política energética a nivel nacional debido a que la explotación de los combustibles de origen fósil está directamente relacionada con el aumento de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) y de la temperatura global. En este trabajo sostengo que la estructura de propiedad sobre los recursos energéticos en Canadá y México condiciona el alcance y la efectividad de sus estrategias climáticas. Me apoyo en los enfoques de gobernanza multinivel para ubicar la discusión sobre la creciente participación de actores no estatales (ANE) en la configuración e implementación de la política energética y climática en los niveles regional y global.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
