Abstract
Aquí se abordan, cuantitativamente, algunas de las principales características de la migración hacia Estados Unidos, principal país receptor de migrantes en el mundo y principal origen de los flujos de remesas internacionales entre 2000 y 2010. Se presenta primero un panorama de la migración mundial; después se ofrece una visión de la migración específica a Estados Unidos. El artículo en general se dedica a analizar algunos aspectos centrales de estos flujos migratorios (autorizados y no autorizados). Las fuentes de referencia fueron la Organización Internacional de las Migraciones, la Oficina del Censo de Estados Unidos y el Pew Hispanic Center.Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:
